Use a socket (for nuts and bolts) as a bowl. You can get a set of 10 for $2 from Dollarama. Melt a hole in a bottle cap and insert the socket, then melt a hole in the bottom of the bottle for a cheap but easy gravity bong; either plug the hole with your finger to hold the water until you light it, or use a bucket like in the gravity bong guide here.

After repeated uses, the tin foil does, over time, turn to ash. Its not a matter of how hot the fire is, its overall exposure time.

This is dumb. The aluminum as a bowl can cause alzheimers (same as smoking from a soda can) and the pen is dumb because it can cause toxic fumes. This is the way I do it and it works good. Just sick a pen through the top of the apple down halfway through, then pull it out. Then use the pen to make a hole in the apple on the side about halfway down and make it meet the other hole. If you want you can also make another hole like this on the other side to be used as a carb. The just use a socket as a bowl and suck through the hole. Thats the best way to do it you can actually get some pretty decent rips from it..

Um I doubt this as I've wrapped food in foil and put it on raging fires to cook...and the foil does not turn to ash. It blackens slightly but stays intact. So doubt a lighter could do more damage than a fireplace.

the plastic of the pen where the smoke comes to the mouth may cause some problems, even if the plastic is not in contact with the fire, the smoke that goes in the plastic can be toxic...

You should never use a pipe made out of an aluminum can, the fumes that come off of heated aluminum are very unhealthy and may contribute to the onset of alzheimer's disease.

That of using the tin foil sucks cause even though it doesnt catch on fire it does convert in to ashes and those ashes are made of aluminium and that isnt good for you nor your lungs ;) go to home depot or somthing and buy some sort of screw or something that is similar to a bowl
